INTRO
The pandemic has transformed the way we work, introducing new challenges and opportunities for residential design. As remote working becomes the norm, the boundaries between professional and personal life are increasingly blurred. People now seek homes that foster productivity while providing comfort, relaxation, and inspiration. This shift calls for innovative design solutions that enhance the functionality and values of residential spaces, balancing efficiency and well-being with creativity and sustainability.
BRIEF
Design a 100-square-meter residential space complemented by an additional 40-square-meter outdoor area (garden, terrace, or balcony). The design should cater to the evolving needs of remote working while embracing a contemporary approach to work-life balance.
Explore creative interactions between interior and exterior spaces, integrating functionality, comfort, and sustainability into the proposal. The exterior area could be divided into multiple spaces.
The location of the project is flexible and should be informed by your research, allowing your design to address specific cultural and environmental contexts. The proposal must reflect innovative living and working scenarios, harmoniously blending design, productivity, and well-being into a cohesive, future-ready space that enhances everyday experiences.
