INTRO

The fashion industry is a powerful platform for self-expression and cultural representation. Yet, challenges persist in ensuring diversity, equity, and inclusion across the sector. This competition invites you to explore how fashion brands can authentically embrace and promote inclusivity, considering every aspect from design to marketing.

By addressing these challenges, participants will propose innovative solutions to create a more equitable and representative fashion future.

BRIEF

This competition challenges candidates to develop a comprehensive strategy for fostering diversity and inclusion within the fashion industry. The projects should address key areas such as brand positioning, supply chain inclusivity, retail accessibility, and community engagement. Participantes should consider questions such as:

• How can fashion brands ensure representation across diverse cultural, size, age, and ability spectrums?

• What role can inclusive storytelling and marketing play in reshaping consumer perceptions?

• How can the hiring and talent development processes reflect a commitment to equity?

• What innovative initiatives can make fashion more accessible to underrepresented groups? Participants should showcase their ideas through detailed visual and analytical presentations. Candidates’ proposals should include data-driven insights, mockups of campaigns or collections, and actionable recommendations tailored to contemporary fashion brands. By envisioning a future where inclusivity is the norm, this competition seeks to inspire the next generation of fashion leaders to embrace diversity as a core value in their strategies.

  • Project - Digital project presentation, A4 format, landscape, 300 d.p.i., maximum 10 slides.
  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Artistic or professional portfolio (not mandatory)
  • Motivation Letter
  • Diploma - Bachelor’s Degree or Academic Diploma translated into English or official certificate of expected graduation issued by your institution.
  • Transcript - Official transcripts translated into English or most updated official transcripts if not yet graduated.
  • IELTS 5.0 - Academic or recognized equivalent certificate to be submitted within three months of course start date. (not mandatory)
  • Copy of passport

ADDITIONAL FOR DOUBLE AWARD MASTER

  • 2 Reference Letters
  • IELTS 5.5 in all parts or recognized equivalent certificate to be submitted within 3 months before the course start date. (not mandatory)
